I have! over the weekend

okay, the movie is funny...but it really does not do any justice to the book at all!!
this happens to be my favourite book out of the total 7 in the series
i love those parts about voldermort's past...those horcrux..and i love how the book ended with the million dollar question, "Is Snape good or bad?"!!!
(btw, Snape is my favourite character in the book, and in the movie too! the actor really was what i expect snape to be!)
but the movie really does no justice to the book!
but i know harry potter fans will still watch it for sure (just like me)
and just be awed by the visual effects!

i shall just read the book again and be soaked in the story again :)

how has week 1 of term 3 been?

i guess the youth day holiday comes in pretty timely? next monday! so its a long weekend.
Why did I say timely? Cos I guess everyone's engine is still not warmed up yet! so still going slow.. and not ready for school yet!
Got to add oil to your engine and heat it up over the weekend! no other holidays in the month of july already! so got to jiayou! :D

got to discuss about our little cip project with my 2e4 this week~
sounds pretty good so far, well done class!
make this a good one as..oh well..there aren't many other activities we can do as a class as time is running out!
keep the enthusiasm level high and also do our part for charity!
also encouraging other students from other classes to help our project too!
more details to be revealed next week! but we are selling stuff :)

but but...
i had a stomachache in the middle of the night after the bbq..
i wonder what had gone wrong..
i hope everyone else is fine ;)

i've watched this over the weekend too!
its really cool & creative!
its performed by about 5-6 pple from Japan, they made use of everyday items to create sound and rhythm, such as water, ladder, glasses, sawing, food, paper
the performance also had several entertaining and comic moments and even the audience was involved in parts of the performance. thumbs up!!!

enjoy the rest of the holidays~ work hard n play hard!

p.s. i think taylor swift was invited to act in an episode of csi...

sports day is over! did you enjoy yourself?

I definitely did! as I watched how my students did their their best and completed every event! ! good show of sportsmanship!

I love the relays!
I always love watching the relays during the Olympics games! so nerve wrecking as the results can be so unexpected and may change anytime, such as the very famous US team in the last Olympics! they were expected to win, but they dropped their baton...

i was also involved in the staff relay, and it was my 1st time in a relay! so its pretty nervous for me too!
i jog sometimes..but take note, its JOG!
but for the 4x100m relay, you just simply have to dash with all your might for that 100m! totally different from a leisure jog
and I must confess, I did not do much stretching or warm up..which results in some achings now
a well-deserved lesson, I must say....dont ever belittle stretching!!!

so Im glad its a long weekend break ahead! good to rest my legs :D

happy chinese new year! hope you had great fun eating n collecting angbaos!

i definitely enjoyed my cny! went to malaysia as my relatives are all there

but pity me, my angbao money is in RM

nevertheless i enjoyed the food there! and the cny atmosphere was also very lively there

definitely different from here!

my favourite food ~ a must-eat whenever i go malaysia (:

it's raining, thankfully..as the air-con broke down and it was so stuffy!
but the bus wasnt steady at all, kept reversing!!

enjoyed the cool weather at gentings~

and the outdoor amusement park..the SPACESHOT was so scary.

the ride brought you up to a very high point (about 13 storeys high?) and dropped u suddenly

i had seriously no idea where my heart went during the ride

it felt that it went down with the ride!

i couldn't even shout out as i was in shock

but it's an experience ! & im proud to have taken it!

hello everyone!

I have always enjoyed listening to music, like pop, rock, jazz, r&b & bandmusic
But I am more of a chinese pop song fan, so yes, I listen to chinese pop alot!

currently, I am really in love with this album!

萧敬腾
he has such a totally rocker voice! enjoyed listening to all his songs, esp. 原谅我，收藏, 王子的新衣.
You can never imagine such a strong powerful inner voice coming from such a skinny person!
He participated in a taiwan singing competition, 星光 and out of the many contestants who got the chance to release an album, I think his album is the best! sorry to other fans ! just my personal opinion & taste !

With an appreciation for rocker voices..
thus I also like MAYDAY! 五月天
their live band performance is superb! the way they play those instruments, inspired me to learn the rock guitar too! but never had the drive & time to do it now! maybe I will, one day!

what have i been doing?

oh well, i went to eat steamboat some days ago

i love eating steamboat cos you will feel very 'homely' as everyone sits around a pot of food and enjoys the same food (:

oh well i ate this with some of my sec school friends

friends whom i really treasure! so treasure yours too!!

i think what bonds us together after so long is our shared experiences.

experiences in lessons, in classrooms, in school, during recess and our outings and so on..

our good times and bad times together

we still talk about these experiences and laugh our heads off til now (: especially those childish ones!

today's the 1st day of sch after EOYs!

and im sure all of you have received some papers back?

If you have done well, GOOD!! im happy for you too :D

But... if you have not, don't be too disappointed all right?

I know this disappointment cant be helped, especially if you have worked hard for it

I think what's more important is to learn from the mistakes you made during the exam and learn to not repeat these mistakes again

You still have many obstacles in life to overcome

1 failure doesn't mean you will be a failure always (:

Afterall, 10 years down the road, who will remember your EOY results? :P

yes im marking my sec1 maths papers now..
hmm.. all of u complained that its difficult? oh well
its end of year exams u know!
& ms chong feels that if the exam is so easy, then theres really no point in taking the exams !

but u must be fair and agree with me that paper 1 is actually very easy !

but oh well its already over! no point brooding over it

sg flyer

oh well, what should i post?

hmm maybe about my experience at the sg flyer...
it's the 1st time i took it..bout a few days ago..
its free for teachers! til the end of sept, which is why i grabbed the chance to go take it

the flyer in my favourite shade of purple !
students, do you see moments at work here? :P

i like this collage of postcards! particularly the one with the heart

night scene of sg!

the ride was a 30 minutes ride only..and its rotating so slowly such that you dont really feel it moving.
so u can imagine how much slower the earth is rotating?
you can only gauge how high your flyer is by looking at how small the buildings around you are becoming !

its quite an attraction as i saw many tourists that day! so i guess its worth a go!
u can even see the f1 racing tracks now (: and imagine the f1 cars roaring past...

haha let me see if theres any more interesting experiences for me to blog about..
but that's all for now first...
